Your questions, answered.

We understand that attending a new church can feel awkward or intimidating, so we’ve answered some common questions we get asked, to help you feel more comfortable. If you have any other questions that we haven’t covered here, please feel free to send them our way!

What is Church?

Church is a community of people who gather together to learn more about Jesus and encounter his amazing unending love. Fireplace is a safe place for you to grow, learn and connect with people from all walks of life.

What Are The Services Like?

Our Sunday service is typically 1.5 – 2 hours. The service starts with worship — contemporary, modern Christian songs and the occasional hymn. There’s no need to feel intimidated or out of place if you don’t know the songs; you’ll catch on quickly.

Following worship, there is a message from Pastor Bob, a team member or a guest speaker. Our aim is to communicate truth from the Bible in a way that is relevant for everyone.

Will I Be Asked To Give Money?

Nope! We don’t want you to feel pressured to give. We want you to enjoy the environment and worship experience. If you call our church home, we encourage you to give financially to God and His church as an act of worship.

Is There a Kids Program?

Yes! Following the worship portion of our service, children ages 5—12 are dismissed for their own programming. They will participate in bible-based, age appropriate teachings, activities and crafts.

What Should I Wear?

We are more concerned with what’s going on in your heart than what you are wearing. Wear what makes you feel comfortable! It could be jeans or business casual, it’s up to you. There’s no pressure!

Are The People Friendly?

As soon as you walk in the doors you will be cheerfully welcomed . Friendly members of the church will make you feel right at home and very welcome.
